The City of Vero Beach is the county seat and the largest incorporated municipality. With an estimated population of more than 17,000, Vero Beach enjoys greenery, open space, unspoiled beaches, and ocean scenes illustrates this community. Originally Vero Beach was a stop on the Florida East Coast Railroad and was incorporated in 1910.
